I Was About to Give Up on Life Until One Stranger Greeted Me ‘Good Morning’
An epiphany of my life.
It was around 6 in the morning, and I have just arrived at the train station, I sat on the bench hoping to catch a bus to go home, packed with a suitcase full of clothes, the sun was shining but I couldn’t care to look above and feel the lights, I guess the morning light wasn’t that exciting anymore to me.
All I could think of was how I’m going to explain this to my family, and at that time I had no money left in my pocket, I was nearly broke, I spent most of my saving on a business that has been running for two years until it went completely bankrupt, losing money is something that I could afford, but for the last two years I have been investing my thoughts, and most importantly my time, I barely reach my closest friends, and the girl that I love had left me, it was one of the darkest moments in my life.
When I was a kid, my parents keep telling me that I was a bright kid, people who are always around me would tell the same thing, but I guess when you’re so used to being the winner in almost everything, and when you lose, you don’t know how to face it — That’s me, looking at something that I built for two years slowly vanished into the thin air. As I sat on that bench, I could feel nothing but my fear and ashamed of my own…
